Donation
Your full donation goes to Jeri’s House to support our mission of educating, encouraging, and empowering individuals who are DeafBlind.
Why Your Support Matters.
Can you imagine not being able to go visit a friend, call them on the phone, go to church, get groceries, etc. All you do is sit at home without a way to read, watch TV or engage in your surroundings. Individuals who are DeafBlind often feel isolated, invisible, and in some cases made to feel helpless. Sometimes family and friends want to do too much. They want to help, but in reality, this disables the DeafBlind person further. Individuals need to learn what they can do on their own to build self confidence and to realize their value.
Transforming Lives Through Independence
Jeri’s House stands as a welcoming place where individuals who are DeafBlind can gain the skills, confidence, and community they need to thrive. Through instruction in Braille, sign language, advocacy, and daily living skills—as well as engaging in hobbies and personal interests—individuals build the foundation for independent, fulfilling lives.
One Person at a Time, Reaching Full Potential
Every individual who walks through Jeri’s House is met with encouragement. Each person’s training program is tailored to their specific needs. Grounded in a faith-based mission, Jeri’s House fosters self-esteem, empowerment, and a sense of belonging within a nurturing environment.
From Experience to Expertise
Founded by Jeri Sue Lynn‑Cooper—a DeafBlind educator whose life story is one of resilience, transformation, and compassion—Jeri’s House embodies her legacy. Today, it continues her mission of guiding others from isolation to independence, turning challenges into stepping stones.
